Ten Commandments, The (Full Frame)
For sheer pageantry and spectacle, few motion pictures can claim to equal the splendor of Cecil B. DeMille's 1956 remake of his epic "The Ten Commandments". Filmed in Egypt and the Sinai with one of the biggest sets ever constructed for a motion picture, this version tells the story of the life of Moses (Charlton Heston), once favored in the Pharaoh's (Yul Brynner) household, who turned his back on a privileged life to lead his people to freedom. Picture frame - A picture frame is usually made of a rectangle of wood, from four shaped pieces secured at the corners and holding a pane of glass, although some are made of plexi glass (a type of glass that is more resistant to shattering). There is usually padding material placed between the picture and the glass.

Video frame - In film, video production, animation, and related fields, a frame is one of the many still images which compose the complete moving picture. Historically, these were recorded on a long strip of photographic film, and each image looked rather like a framed picture when examined individually, hence the name.

Full frame - In cinematography and photography, full frame or flat filming captures all of the desired image along with additional visual information surrounding the target frame. One advantage of using full frame filming is that it gives the filmmaker a larger picture to work with when creating a pan and scan transfer of the film; one of the disadvantages is that it does not make optimal use of the available film area for widescreen versions, as anamorphic widescreen does.
